Creating My Free Account
How do I sign up for an account?
Go to the registration page, provide some basic information, create a password, and click Log In. Registration is required to enter the DisasterReady learning portal where you can take free training.
I tried creating an account, but I received an error message that says my email address is already in use. What should I do?
This means you already have an account on DisasterReady.org or on our other free online learning site -- NonprofitReady.org. Go to the login page and log in with your email address and password. If you do not remember your password, click on the reset password link and enter your email address to receive a password reset link. If you do not receive an email, please contact our Live Support Team.
I tried creating an account, but I received an error message that says my email address is not valid. What should I do?
Make sure your email is in this format:
For example, an acceptable email would be firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your email is in this format, make sure to delete any extra spaces at the end of your email address and try again. If you still cannot create an account with your email address, please contact our Live Support Team.
Can I take courses from anywhere in the world?
Yes, DisasterReady is a free online learning portal that is available to anyone, in any country, at any time.
Logging in to My Account
How do I log in?
Go to the DisasterReady login page and use the same email address and password you created when you registered. You have to log in every time you would like to use the DisasterReady learning portal.
I tried logging in, but I received an error message that says I entered invalid authentication credentials. What does this mean? What should I do?
An invalid authentication credentials error message is caused by one of the following issues:
You do not have an account with DisasterReady
Solution: Go to the registration page and create an account with the email you would like to use.
The password you entered is not correct
Your account has been deleted
Solution: If you believe you have an account and it has been deleted, contact our Live Support Team.
I clicked reset password, and entered my email address, but did not receive an email.
First, check your spam filters or folders and look for an email from “” with the subject “Reset your DisasterReady portal password”. If you cannot find the email, please contact our Live Support Team for assistance.
