2013
DisasterReady.org goes live with first 10 courses in English. 2,900 humanitarians register in year one.

2014
We release courses in English and French to support aid workers responding to the Ebola crisis in Africa.
2015
We develop our first Crisis Response Page to support aid workers responding to the earthquake in Nepal.


2016
The Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation and DisasterReady earns a grant to develop the Investing in Syrian Humanitarian Action (ISHA) online learning program, in partnership with Mercy Corps and International Rescue Committee. The program trained over 119,000 humanitarians in Syria and the region responding to the humanitarian crisis in Syria.

2017
In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, DisasterReady releases its first set of online courses for U.S. volunteers responding to hurricanes and floods.

2018
We launch Ready to Go Mobile Guides that provide short, mobile-friendly courses on high demand topics in partnership with aid organizations and U.N. agencies. Today we have over 50 in a variety of languages.

2019
We partner with HumanitarianU to make its popular Core Humanitarian Certification available for free, exclusively on DisasterReady.org.

2020
We partner with Project HOPE to rapidly deploy the first of two COVID-19 online courses for health care workers and humanitarians around the world.

2021
DisasterReady partners with INSSA to release our second free certification program focused on Security Risk Management Professionals.
We welcome our millionth learner to DisasterReady.org.


2022
We develop 10 mental health videos and 12 online courses in Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian, to support aid workers and volunteers responding to the war in Ukraine and refugee crisis in the region.

2023
DisasterReady, in collaboration with EI Powered by MPS, wins four prestigious Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards in learning and development for our Project Management Essentials Certificate. In 2023, over 40,000 learners earned their certificate and badge.
We celebrate DisasterReady’s 10-year anniversary.

2024
DisasterReady partners with Pyramid Learning and PM4NGOs to develop a MEAL Essentials Certificate in English, Spanish, and French.
We partner with RNLI to create a Flood and Water Safety video on our YouTube channel, offering valuable training to communities.

2025
We develop, in collaboration with Applied Wisdom for the Nonprofit Sector, a Leadership Essentials Certificate in English, Spanish, French and Arabic that by end of the year impacted 36,000 learners globally.
